Guest Speaker
George Ross
George grew up in a small town, Palmyra, Illinois and graduated from Lincoln Christian College in 1976 with a Bachelor's degree in Christian Ministries. He also received a Master's degree in Practical Theology from Cincinnati Bible Seminary in 1986.
George and his wife, Sue Linn, were married New Year's Eve in 1977 and have two grown kids and 5 grandkids. They've invested their married life in their kids and in local church ministry for 47 years doing youth & children, music & adult discipleship, and lead pastor roles in churches in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Las Vegas.
After retiring June 2023, George founded "Finishing Well", a ministry that encourages Lead Pastors in their calling and helps the "55+ crowd" not lose heart, but stay connected to Christ, remain faithful in church fellowship, & passionately live out their "calling & mission" in this new season of life.
NEW THIS YEAR!!!!
Bucket Golf
Whether you're a golf enthusiast or a beginner, BucketGolf is for everyone. Here are rules and tipsto kickstart and enhance your game.
- Every hole in Bucket Golf is a par 3, which means you have 3 shots to hit the bucket to get a par for every hole.
- Each player is only allowed to use 1 club per game no switching allowed.
- Hitting any part of the bucket completes the hole; chipping your ball inside the bucket deducts one stroke from your score on that hole.
- If a player hits their ball into the foliage (bushes, water, plants, etc.) they must take a drop no closer to the hole from where the ball went out and a 1 stroke penalty.
That's it! Lowest score wins!
